Farriers Court

Our latest properties, a block of 8 apartments at Farriers Court, Egmont Road, Easebourne, are now complete,  officially opened, and new tenants appointed.

Clare Apel, Chair of Chichester District Council, officially cut the ribbon in front of joining tenants at the opening of the properties. Clare said “This is a wonderful development to fill an important  housing requirement. I personally would like to congratulate all those involved in this Community Land Trust project and wish them all the best for the future”.

Andrew Griffith, MP for Arundel and South Downs, also attended the event and spoke of the importance of community led projects and said  “Low-cost housing for local people is a much-needed mission. My congratulations to everyone involved”.

The block consists of 2 two-bedroom and 6 one-bedroom apartments. The Trust is renting the apartments at affordable rents, being 70% of the relevant market rate. They are designed to support families and individuals from the area and key workers who are essential for health services and the economy.
